My presentation

Good morning! My name is Dalia Torres. I am 19 years old. I am student in Trade Relations. My profession include Advertisement, Sales, Marketing, Promotion, among others. I am expect a good job and life quality. I want to be Relationship Manager. I work for Apple Inc. My current job is Business Consultant, I will lead the retail team in meeting the needs of Apple´s small market and medium-market business customers. The company was created by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in 1976. They were technology fans. All first with Apple I. Apple leads the industry with computers and softwares. Apple is also leading the digital music, having sold over 110 million iPods and over three billion songs from its iTunes online store. Apple entered the mobile phone market this year with its revolutionary phone.

This graph shows the sells of the iPods between 2000 and 2007. Apple sold 1 billion of iPods in 2000, the sells increased double from 2000 to 2001. Then, remained steady at 2 billions between 2001 and 2004. iPods increased your sells from 2 billions at 8 billions in 2007.

Diary

Week 1 and 2

The experience to this website blogger is COOL, great and genial. The blog allows me not to load my PEL in my bag. And economic point of view it´s excellent, Because my bag is heavy when I bring my PEL. I think that after the semester I use the blog, but I´m not sure about that.
I like the first class because in other semesters don´t do it. And this is my career. I like the teacher because her pronunciation is different from other teachers. She speaks like a Canadian. My first assignment was a reading in the book and answer the questions and I like because I understand the words and I will get 10. The grammar of the semester is more important. I remember one class with my new teacher; this was my first class that the teacher use a computer in the class. The suggestions are very useful for my future job.

Week 3

I search a typical class. This class help me because I express all I think in English of course. I learn words then I use of my future job. In my others semesters I don´t utilise the word to link two sentences. I say two sentences but I don´t link. I remember than the second I see the "be polite" When I make suggestions I remember this part.

Week 4

The different of the necessary or advice, for me it was the same. The activity of the comic it was be fun, because is the way funny for learn the present perfect and it´s cool.

Week 5

When a describe a graph I feel like a analyst in a interview and I say the weather or something jaja. The group is great but I hope that is better but I don´t know what happen. I´m nervous about the BEC I don´t feel secure in my test.

Week 6

I will finish my book. I disappoint about my test (exam) of the partial. because in this continue evaluation I get 10 but I don´t know what happen to me? There is a joke that the teacher tell us of hard and hardly. This is a grammar joke. The adverbs and adjectives are new for me.

Week 7

I think so that I learn the two types of conditionals It´s easy. I hope. The speaking was well. My listening is better I like that. I like the JC song and I downloading it. I don´t practice. I only sometimes talk to my brother in English but informal. I have to practice the reading. I need more vocabulary. I have to separate my diary and my PEL.

Week 8

In the class, we see the preparation for the BEC. I know that I can because my experience in the English is long. But I have doubts. If I study I can surpass this step. I have to study but no it´s so hard. I have confidence in myself. This is auto motivation ja ja.

Director: Good Morning. I would like thanks you for your presence in this meeting. OK Let´s start. I´m sure. You are noticed that we have a serious problem in our factory. As you two years ago the Production Manager was changed. Since that time we found several mistakes and failures in that Department for example our productivity has fallen significantly in the last two years and the business has started to suffer. The workers are unhappy and the morale is low.
Finally, we have a big problem that we hadn´t two years ago: The situation has now reached a crisis because the company reputation is badly damaged, sales are falling and financial losses amount ti thousands of euros each month. Well, after, you know our situation I would like hear. What do you think?

Executive 1: Well, we could give a pay increase to all the workers.

Executive 2: I´m not sure about that because give a pay increase would cost 500.000 euros we haven´t enough money.

Director: Does anyone have any other opinion?

Executive 3: I think we could reduce the level at which workers can earn a productivity bonus.

Executive 4: In my point of view if we do it we will have the same case because it would cost 300.000 euros.

Director: What about you?

Executive 5: I believe a good solution is cut labour cost. It is possible if we don´t recruiting any new workers when people leave.

Executive 6: I think the best solution is appoint a new Production Manager last week. I was in the Production Department, I heard some workers were talking about it. They told that: He was not a strong manager and he has not good relationships. If we have a new Production Manager our situation will be better, because the workers will see a change. They are important for the company. We attend their complains and they could work happy and the productivity and sales will increase.

Director: Can we agree to appoint a new Production Manager?

All: Yes, we agree.

Director: Ok we have the solution for the problem, so, it´s time to finish.
